Produced from the grapes of the hill named Castelvecchio, where you can find almost 4 hectares of vineyards among the highest in the Frascati area (550 m above sea level). A long time ago these vineyards were cultivated by the priests of 'Sacro Cuore', hence the name. The altitude, the special climate and the lavic vein of the soil ' very close to the surface ' make the grapes rich in sugar, acid and aromatics content. The kinds of grapes are: Malvasia di Candia 40%, Malavasia del Lazio 40%, Bombino and Cacchione 20%.
This wine is straw-coloured with greenish tints. It gives off an intense and well balanced aroma that reminds of fruit (apple) and white flowers. Its taste is full, deep, fresh and at the same time it has the right depth. At a 12° C - 14° C temperature, thanks to its characteristics, this wine can be served as an aperitif and it perfectly matches seafood - both raw and cooked - risotto, soups and fresh cheese.
